Where does the time go? Easter is on Sunday!
I thought gathering up a few fantastic Gluten Free Easter recipes would be fun!
I enjoy Ham for Easter dinner, and I LOVE my crock pot, so imagine my delight coming upon this recipe!
This Fall-Off-The-Bone-Crockpot Ham from Something Sweet, Something Salty has so many "good" words in it for me... ham, crock pot and "fall off the bone"! I will be making this on Sunday, so I wanted to share it with you!
I could honestly just eat the Ham and be fine, but... you need a few sides to round out the meal!
Here is a recipe for Bacon Wrapped Green Beans from The Realistic Nutritionist . I'm not sure if there is anything that bacon wrapped around doesn't help... but this looks so good!
I am an Idaho native, so, for holiday meals, we always have some kind of "spud". I found these Twice Baked Potatoes from My Gluten-free Kitchen and had to share!
There are not many things better than Maple syrup. These Gluten Free Maple Glazed Carrots found on from our Hideaway look amazing!
Now, for dessert, which as my Mom always says, "is the best part of the meal"... Theresa from Gluten Free Alaska has these amazing Gluten Free Circus Cookies!
I'm a pretty simple girl and like to keep my "holiday meals" on the smaller side, as my kiddos don't have huge appetites yet. I imagine that will change once I have a houseful of teenage boys, but for now, my smaller feasts do the trick!
Whatever you have for dinner on Easter, I hope you enjoy it! Cheers!
I would love to include a few more Gluten Free recipes in my weekly round up on Friday... so, if you have any favorites, please let me know in the comments and I will add them in!
Disclaimer: I do not eat strictly gluten free, but I know several people do and wanted to find some recipes that would work well for them. With that said, I cannot guarantee all the above recipes are strictly gluten free (even though they all appear to be), so please take this list as suggestions. Labels: Gluten Free, Tips & Tricks
